Soap bars handmade in small batches using a blend of plant based organic oils and fairly traded butters, coloured naturally using botanicals and fragranced with essential oils. They are all suitable for vegans, palm oil free and plastic free, and the labels are even plantable (embedded with 15 different types of UK native wildflower seeds)!
All these soaps are handmade, in small batches, using the cold process method and will always be palm oil free, never tested on animals (just willing friends and family!), vegan or vegetarian, and plastic free.
This blend of organic peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils is so uplifting and revitalising.
Lavender and patchouli is a wonderfully calming and grounding scent blend.
Beautifully scented with lavender and rose geranium, this handcrafted soap will transport you to a calming meadow.
Considering the impact of Small Kindness products on people and the planet is at the heart of everything they are trying to do. That is why, where possible, they will use organic and fairly traded ingredients, they will minimise the waste in both manufacturing processes and in the packaging. And most importantly they will always be transparent about all of these things.
Each bar of soap weighs a minimum of 120g and measures approximately 7cm x 7.5cm x 2.5cm. As these bars are made by hand they may vary a little in size and colour. And as all the colourants are natural and plant based they may fade a little - especially in direct sunlight

As all Small Kindness soaps are fragranced and coloured naturally we would recommend that you store your soap in a cool dark place until you use them.
And remember when you come to use your soaps your labels are plantable - they are embedded with 15 different types of UK native wildflower seeds. This amazing seeded paper is made in the UK by an artisan papermill. This means that with every soap you get the gift of flowers that also help to protect our bees!
Small Kindness is a small, independent, handmade soap business based in Birmingham, UK. The business was founded by Kelly after she was made redundant for having chronic migraines (!), all during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was determined there was a better, kinder way and have always been keen to help people start on their journey to reduce their impact on the environment. So making and selling soap seemed like a perfect place to start!
Soap needs little packaging and is a simple first swap for people on the way to lessening their impact on the environment. And that was how Small Kindness was born. As a soap-making novice this was quite an undertaking, but after a lot of research (which she loves as a scientist) and multiple batches later the first Small Kindness soaps are now available!
The labels are plantable and all the packaging is compostable and recyclable.
