Very helpful !

These wristbands helped me a lot feel better, wore them all day and it made a real difference !

These bands are a listed medical device classification 1, and come with instructions.

They can be used for different types of nausea:

Morning sickness
Travel sickness
Motion sickness
Chemotherapy sickness
Post operative
Vertigo

These wristbands use the principles of acupressure to counteract feelings of an upset tummy.

They have a metal stud, which apply gently pressure to the ‘Nei-Kuan’ points, which has allowed many people to feel relief. The bands must be worn on both wrists so that the stud is pressing downwards onto the ‘Nei-Kuan’ point.

What is Acupressure?

Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique derived from Asia over 5000 years ago. Traditional Chinese Medical theory describes special acupressure points that lie along channels in your body. It works by stimulating the meridian system to bring about relief and aid discomfort. This theory is based on traditional Chinese Medicine and similar to acupuncture…. but without the Needles!

What is Morning Sickness?

Pregnancy can be a positive, life-altering process, but for some women morning sickness can take away from the fun and enjoyment. The most common symptoms associated with morning sickness are nausea and vomitin. It’s not ideal, especially when you are coming to terms with your changing body and a cocktail of hormones. Did you know morning sickness is actually caused by hormones? It also affects more women than you might think, with 80% suffering with symptoms.

Some women unfortunately suffer from something called Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which causes severe nausea that requires medical assistance.

What Does The NHS Say?

New NHS has suggested that acupressure may help reduce nausea and vomiting and can play a useful role in treating Morning Sickness. Acupressure, similar to acupuncture, involves wearing a special band or bracelet on your forearm may also be effective in reducing symptoms of nausea in pregnancy.

What is Travel Sickness?

Motion sickness is when the brain can't make sense of information sent from your eyes, ears and body. We rely on our senses to keep our balance and compute the environmental landscape, especially our eyes and ears.

The inner ear in particular, helps control your sense of balance. As it holds fluid which communicates to the brain if you are upside down etc. but if you are in a car or on a boat the motion is causing the fluid in the ears to move sending mixed messages to the brain then the eyes are communicating another message and the brain becomes confused causing the feelings of nausea and vomiting.

Basically it's not a nice feeling and can really affect your travels and daily tasks, don’t worry as we have plenty of products you can try…

These bands are made from high quality cotton, which elasticate and fit snug around the wrist and allows the metal stud to press down on the acupressure point.
