Choosing your size:
Choose Size A if you:
- Are 30 and over OR
- Have given birth vaginally whatever your age
Choose Size B if you:
- Are under 30 &
- Have not given birth vaginally
The Mooncup menstrual cup is made from soft, medical-grade silicone making it so comfortable you can’t feel it’s there. Unlike tampons, which absorb 35% vaginal moisture, the Mooncup menstrual won’t dry you out or leave fibres behind.
Your Mooncup is always there, ready. No last-minute dash to the shops, no stockpiling different absorbency pads or tampons. Holding 3x more than a regular tampon, the Mooncup is an ideal menstrual cup for heavy flow and provides longer lasting protection. Because the Mooncup is non-absorbent it won’t cause dryness when your period is light.

How do I clean my Mooncup?
If you look after your Mooncup menstrual cup and clean it well, it should last for years and years.
First use and between periods?
Before you use your Mooncup menstrual cup for the first time and after you’ve finished your period, we recommend giving it a thorough clean. To do this you can boil it immersed in water for 5 to 7 minutes (in a pan you use just for this purpose) use sterilising solution or tablets. These are commonly used to sterilise baby equipment.
