Balms etc. organic deodorant is made from a unique blend of six ingredients - 100% natural & organic. Nothing harmful or artificial. No Parabens. No Nasties at all.

"We love this deodorant for its organic and natural ingredients, its fresh flavours and the cute recyclable aluminium tin."

Each tin is 30g. As the balm is highly concentrated, a 30g tin should last you between 4-5 weeks.

Use your index finger to rub a pea-sized to chickpea-sized amount into clean and dry armpits. In very cold weather, you may need to use the heat of your armpit to warm the balm slightly before rubbing it in.

PITT BALM have created one of the simplest yet most efficient deodorants on the market using the least number of ingredients they could. They source organic oils and food grade powders to ensure the highest quality possible.

Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is a highly saturated oil that is traditionally made by extracting the oil from raw coconuts or dried coconut kernels. Coconut oil contains Vitamin E, essential amino acids, and lauric and caprylic acid which are amazing at repairing your skin’s natural barrier function and helps maintain your skin’s natural flora aka the good bugs! It can also keep moisture in the skin by slowing down the evaporation – helping to reduce the chance of sweaty ‘pitts’!

Shea Butter
Shea butter is a fat that’s been extracted from shea tree nuts which are mostly based in West Africa. With high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins, shea butter is great for softening and moisturising skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties – so lets soften and heal your underarms!

Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter, one of nature’s ultimate moisturisers, is extracted from whole Cocoa beans that are harvested from the cacao (cocoa) tree found in South America. With a melting point similar to our own body temperature, the cocoa butter in your deodorant helps it to absorb easily into your armpits. Giving chocolate that luxurious smooth and creamy consistency, it is mirrored when cocoa butter is used on your skin. Leaving your ‘pitts’ feeling silky-soft and hydrated.

Bicarbonate of Soda
Baking soda has been discovered in mineral springs across the world, attracting a host of tourists who want to experience the invigorating benefits of this exceptional compound. The exfoliating, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of baking soda for your skin can help get rid of dead cells that have accumulated over time in your armpits. Not only this, it helps by slightly shrinking the size of your pores, thereby preventing dirt and other particulate matter from clogging them and allowing you to naturally sweat freely! Baking soda also helps fight body odour due to its antibacterial properties – thus helping you smell your best!

Arrow Root Powder
Arrowroot is a starch obtained from the rootstock of a tropical plant called the Manihot Utilissima plant. It is a fantastic absorbent, especially when it comes to absorbing sweat – a great ingredient to use in your deodorants if you want to sweat naturally but not let it get out of control. Arrowroot is great for its healing abilities and leaves your skin feeling silky to touch.

Essential Oils
People have been using essential oils for centuries in order to maintain health and treat various ailments and conditions. Essential oils are the volatile essences of plants that create unique, wafting fragrances. They can be extracted from any plant’s flowers, bark, stem, leaves, roots, and sometimes its fruits. Every essential oil fragrance has their own unique benefits which is always important to remember when trying to decide which PITT BALM scent is best for you!

As PITT BALM doesn’t contain any fillers or waxes the best place to store it is in a nice cool dry place. In the summer, when temperatures are higher, you may notice a slight texture change. This is normal and won't affect the deodorant at all.

The original idea to create a natural deodorant started in late 2016. Courtney, their founder, read a number of articles about the potential harmful effects of aluminium salts in deodorant and decided to make the switch to something more natural. He also realised that almost all deodorants sold each year are in single-use plastic containers.

He decided to try and ‘scratch his own itch’ and simply make his own deodorant. That would solve both the problem of unnecessary chemicals his deodorant, and the single-use plastic problem.

After months and months of testing and experimentation PITT BALM was born. Since then, PITT BALM has gone from strength to strength and is sold throughout the UK, Europe and North America.

Rinse the tin in warm water to remove any residue and then recycle them as you would a can of cola.

PITT BALM made a very conscious decision to use Aluminium tins. Why; Because aluminium can be recycled forever. It can be melted down and reformed without losing any quality, and the process can be repeated over and over again. Recycling aluminium saves around 95% of the energy needed to make the metal from raw materials.
